THE « HI-TECH » COURSE.

 
Put yourself in your idols’ place. Put your racing overalls, helmet and gloves on. Slide into the cockpit of an F1 and launch yourself on to the track of one of the most prestigious circuits in Europe.
This privilege, normally only open to the elite world of racing drivers, is yours today. Formula Opel-Lotus and Formula 1 cars are fitted with the most up-to-date technology to come from the competition, including steering wheel change.

Your day includes:
The complete driver's equipment (crash helmet, gloves, racing overalls, balaclava, racing boots, all FIA approved) access to the circuit, safety measures, availability of the Opel-Lotus and Formula 1 single-seaters, access to the bar, and the driver's meal. Guests with an 'AGS VIP' pass can visit the stands and the bar, visit the workshop and take a closer look at the track.
 
THE PROGRAMM
 

 
MORNING
7H45 : Welcome.
Just time for a snack before you go to the changing rooms to put on your driver's clothes. And there you are already immersed in the atmosphere.

8H15 : "DRIVING" briefing.
Safety rules and all the secrets of driving a single-seater: shifting the load, braking, acceleration, taking slow and fast bends.

9H15 : A closer look at the track by minibus.
The instructors describe each bend. With a detailed plan of the track in your hand, you will learn about the trajectory and which gear to use.

9H30 : Driving a single seater.
Two series of laps at the wheel of an Opel-Lotus, after which you are given personalised advice so that you get the best out of yourself and your car.

11H30 : A guided tour of the AGS workshops.
Behind the scenes! We open the doors of our technical departments: engine, chassis, composites and the whole AGS fleet.
 


12H00 : Lunch.
Time to relax in the restaurant reserved exclusively for you and your guests.

 

AFTERNOON
13H30 : "FORMULA 1" briefing.
You will learn all about the specifics of Formula 1: carbon brakes, gear boxes, starting procedures, safety rules information that is indispensable if your experience is to be a success.

14H00 : Driving "FORMULA 1" style.
The hand is raised, the air-start is plugged in behind you and the V8 roars into life. Into first. You let out the clutch, and you are now one of the few who have driven an F1 car.

16H30 : Track initiation in an F1 two-seater or a PEUGEOT 406 SUPERTOURISM (optional on the Circuit du Var only). The opportunity for you to share the thrill with your guests who have been with you all day as you are taken round by an experienced driver from the AGS FORMULE 1 team.

17H30 : Champagne.
Your dream has come true and you share the thrill with the whole team. You will never watch another Grand Prix in the same way again.
